Diving trips to Tenerife are becoming more and more popular among Poles. It is so for a reason. A diving holiday in Tenerife is great relaxation for the whole family and excellent dives in the warm, clear ocean. The Canary Islands are a great all-year-round alternative to trips to Egypt, which most of Polish divers have visited and in which the political situation does not encourage them to return quickly. Tenerife belongs to the European Union, so we come here with an ID card and the prices in the case of organizing the trip on our own may turn out to be really attractive. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed, people are friendly and pleasantly oriented towards tourists. For an apartment for four people we will pay approx. 350Eur for a week and a flight in low season can be found for 130Eur round trip. Food prices are comparable to Polish, all stimulants are definitely cheaper than in the country.
Diving in the Atlantic is different to the Red Sea, but provides plenty of underwater fun and adrenaline.. The transparency of the water reaches 40m, winter temperature does not drop below 18 degrees and in summer it is approx. 23. We will meet huge rays under the water, turtles, dolphins, mureny, angel sharks and a whole host of other species found in subtropical waters. For those wishing to try diving for the first time, it is possible to do a test dive (INTRO 60Eur) accompanied by turtles or the entire diving course (250-350Eur). Diving training in Tenerife is conducted mainly in the PADI system and it will take us approx.. three, four days. The Scuba Diver certificate can be obtained within two to three days. Divers with licenses can count on very interesting deep dives along the rock walls, underwater caves and canyons and some interesting wrecks.
