Gastronomy
Puerto del Rosario is the perfect place, to eat well and cheaply – tourists practically do not come here, so all restaurants and bars operate mainly with regular customers in mind. The venues are not concentrated in any specific point in the city - they operate in different streets.
Macario (o / Admiral Fontan Lobe 10; 928851197; pn.-sb. 12.30-16.30). Good and cheapest home cooking in the city.
The Embers (John XXIII 68; 928530998; codz. 12.00-16.30 i 20.00-24.00). A family run restaurant specializing in grilled dishes, mainly meat, although in the card of Sf| also fish. The menu costs approx. 10 €.
The Colorado Crab (c / Juan Ramón Jimenez 2; 928858477). Elegant and relatively inexpensive restaurant (main dish 10-20 €) overlooking the sea, which is worth trying the mussels stuffed with mutton (lamb stuffed mussels).
The place (c / La Cruz 26; 928532012). The modern restaurant serves dishes prepared according to slightly refreshed traditional recipes.
Manduka (c / León y Castillo 3; 928344657). The colorful interior of the restaurant resembles pop art works. In such a colorful interior, excellent traditional Canarian dishes taste even better.
Entertainment
Puerto del Rosario is not the most fun city on the island. Although in search of pubs and clubs, it's better to go to Corralejo, with a little effort you can find some interesting places on site too, in which the inhabitants play mainly. The clubs on Secundio Alonso Street are popular places (Rapture i Street 54) and the Camelot pubs (c / Ayose 12; pn.-sb. 23.00-3.00), Mafasca(c / la Cruz 21) and Coyote (c / León y Castillo 14; Mon-Wed. 21.00-3.00, Thu-Sat. 21.00-5.00).
