LAS CANADAS DEL TEIDE NATIONAL PARK
The geological birthplace of the island, the heart of Tenerife. The highest peak of Spain Pico del Teide 3718m above sea level. The variety of climate and vegetation shapes with height. Fantastic views throughout the journey to the top. From a height 2350 above sea level cable car , which rises to the height 3350 m.a.s.l, it is the highest vantage point. Permission is required to climb the peak. These can be obtained in person at the Santa Cruz office. The permit is free and valid for one day only. Park Las Canadas Del Teide od roku 2004 is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
KLIFY THE GIANTS
They are located on the south-west coast of Tenerife and extend over 600 above sea level in the highest parts. The town of Los Gigantes, located by the ocean, is a small port, where tourist boats depart. Numerous cafes and restaurants along the promenade. Intimate near the port, unpopulated beach overlooking spectacular cliffs. The clear blue water is perfect for snorkeling.
THE MASK
Midwife in height 600 above sea level in the Teno mountain range, the village of the first Canarian pirates, living on the island in the period of the 16th-17th centuries. Getting to the village itself is an amazing experience ! A narrow winding mountain road leads along steep gorges, wooded with cypresses and palm trees.
GOOD VIEW OF THE NORTH
No organized trip or city bus goes here. Drive through rocky tunnels and the wildest corner of the island . Punta De Teno lighthouse at the end of the road. You have to see it!
GARACHICO
A commercial port in a beautiful seaside town, destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1706 year. Only the fort known as the Castle of St.. Michael and the rebuilt church of St.. Anna. The city was rebuilt on a volcanic platform along the coast.
ICOD OF WINES
A place associated with the production and trade of wine on the island for centuries. Tasting of local products on the intimate market square of the old town: wines and liqueurs and the historic dragon tree, whose age is estimated at 1000 years.
THE LAGOON
The first capital of the island. In its heyday, La Laguna was a thriving city of merchants, soldiers, bureaucrats and devotees. W 1701 year, a university that does not exist today was established here. Due to the large number of monuments in 1999 the city is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
